Colors in a logo design can give your website or business that extra something that you need. By picking the right colors you will be able to set the mood and tone of the site. Color is everything on the internet. Its what separates a good site from a bad one.
For example I think everyone would agree a yellow background with orange text would not work well together. When picking colors opposites attract works quote well. You need a color separation between the two to distinguish. Same goes for your logo.
Here are some basic colors and what they stand for.
Orange: Tropical, luxury, passion, exotic.
Yellow: Intellect, faith, goodness, friendship.
Blue: Loyalty, fidelity.
Purple: Royalty, uniqueness, justice, truth.
Gray: Neutral, stability, wisdom.
White: Light, air, friendship, peace.
Green: Neutral, growth, money, humility, wisdom.
Black: Void, secrecy, emptiness, despair.
